Digital Signature
Digital Signature as the name suggest is a signature done electronically. This is alternative to physical signature done through pen and paper. It contains digital certificate whose authenticity and integrity can be verified.
Token for digital signature certificate
A USB like physical token contains the password protected signature of the person. DSC can be affixed by using this token only.
Steps to digitally sign on PDF document
The following steps needs to be followed for digitally signing on PDF document:
- Identify PDF documents to be signed.
- Click on the ‘Certificates’ tab.
- Select ‘Digitally Sign’ in the certificates ribbon.
- Drag your signature box where you want to sign.
- Select the signature you want to use. Click the ‘Continue’ button.
- Verify the digitally signature selected by entering password. Click the ‘Sign’ Button.
- System will prompt to save the documents on a folder or path.
- Enter the PIN of DSC token.
Digital signature certificate (DSC) will be inserted into the documents. Digital signature on PDF documents.
