Advice on potential opportunity and risk areas to support management in strategic decision-making to enhance the sustainability of the financial performance of current and future Randstad organizations. Monitor, assess, and advise on (operating) performance and financial indicators against corporate strategy, market best practices, and competitors’ trends. Be an active member of the regional and global (finance) community and drive collaborative change through common initiatives and programs.

Accounting & Control: Accounting & Control is the backbone of ensuring the business; a large part of Randstad’s core processes fit within this. Align, continuously improve, execute and promote the financial systems and work processes according to requirements. Ensure proper financial reporting and tax accounting to Holding for internal and external reporting purposes.

Expert roles:

 ● Expert finance roles (tax, treasury, risk & audit, mergers & acquisitions), and the non-finance expert role within the field of responsibility of the CFO (procurement, as above; corporate services, HRSSC, Global Operations Finance/SSC).

Tax: responsible for Tax compliance in the organization and is ensured via tax filings, tax returns, and follow-up audits

Treasury: cash flow forecasting and management (execution of payments and collections, liquidity management, and maintaining bank accounts) and reporting to Holding.

Business Risk & Audit: ensure adequate internal control environment.

M&A: Local involvement in M&A activities involves market mapping activities to support strategic development, pre-transaction strategic discussions, and the integration phase.

Procurement: All activities to meet the need for goods, services, and information of the internal customers in an optimal way with clients and distributors.
